Navigating Uncharted Waters as a Tugboat for Challengers
The origins of my career lie in the gritty, hands-on world of "real-world business."
After graduating from Kwansei Gakuin University, I joined Pia Corporation, where I was immersed in the backend of the entertainment industry—publishing, bridal services, advertising, and ticketing. Managing direct-sales outlets and publication distribution taught me the fundamental rigor of facing customers head-on. Later, at Token Corporation, I transitioned to real estate sales for land utilization. Through relentless door-to-door visits, I learned firsthand the difficulty—and the profound value—of building trust through one-on-one human relationships.
As the internet began to rewrite the rules of society, I moved into the digital sphere. At CyberAgent, I supported digital marketing for over 70 companies. There, I experienced the thrill of seeing strategies translate directly into business growth within the palpable excitement of a growth industry.
Later, at Dentsu, I served as an Account Executive, handling large-scale projects such as brand strategies for global corporations and Olympic-related initiatives. While developing an integrated marketing perspective, I was stationed in Malaysia to support the expansion of Japanese companies. While I felt the reward of enhancing Japan’s global presence, I also felt the sting of reality—the immense difficulty of executing locally rooted marketing when faced with cultural and linguistic barriers.
Carrying both the frustrations and the insights from my global experience, I joined Panasonic. I led digital marketing and DX (Digital Transformation) for the overseas consumer electronics business, spearheading the construction of e-commerce foundations across North America, Europe, and India. From 2022, based in Singapore, I served as the Head of EC & Digital Marketing for Panasonic Asia. I dove deep into challenging environments characterized by lagging digitalization, the need for sales company revitalization, and underdeveloped IT infrastructure. By working side-by-side with my team on "gritty" incremental improvements, we achieved a milestone of tripling e-commerce sales over three years. Upon returning to headquarters, I dedicated myself to establishing the AI utilization infrastructure that will drive the next wave of transformation.
While standing at the forefront of organizational change, I have also worked as a Registered Management Consultant, partnering with numerous startups and SME owners. From strategic planning and market development to business revitalization and subsidy acquisition, the time spent agonizing and sweating alongside entrepreneurs has become the greatest asset for my own venture.
These diverse paths have led me to found ZENITHA Co., Ltd. By leveraging our assets in AI/Digital, Marketing, EC/D2C, and Global Networks, we provide the support necessary for companies to cross borders effortlessly, deliver value, and achieve sustainable growth.
My goal is for ZENITHA to be a "Tugboat."
A tugboat is not the giant ship that takes center stage. However, despite its small size, it performs an indispensable role—powerfully pushing, pulling, and guiding the massive vessel safely through complex and narrow waterways.
When a daring company ventures toward an undiscovered world, I want to be the one who maps the route and powers their forward momentum.
As a tugboat supporting the voyages of challengers, ZENITHA will walk alongside you in your quest for the future, helping you realize your ideal identity.
